Bee has booped everyone in the house. No one knows where she learned this new game but its clear she's having fun.
Pairing: Mafia!Bucky x Reader, daughter nicknamed Bumblebee
She started with Mr. Tato and his people. Her happy, 'you gets boops and you gets some boops. More boops for you,' drift out of her room before she skipped out to find her bodyguards.
She told Nino she had a 'prise' for him, when he knelt down she booped his nose and ran off, giggling that she got him. She tricked Ronan by asking if he wanted to see what she had in her hand, even though he saw what she did to Nino, he still indulged her and bent down so she could tap his nose.
She told Francine she wanted to eat a snack but when the older woman leaned across the counter to give Bee the plate, the toddler poked her, yelled 'you gots a boop' and fled. Leaving a befuddled Francine and a plate of fruit.
She caught you when you were sitting down to paint. You were quicker than she anticipated, managing to retaliate before she could make her getaway. The two of you spent the next five minutes trading boops until she declared herself the winner with one final tap to your nose.
And now she's down to the final boss. Papa.

I think toy doctors are so nice actually like i remember being a little heartbroken kid when one of my beloved stuffed animals got old and torn up and my mom just threw him out. And i know what it would have meant to me, to have someone lovingly stitch him back up instead so i could love him just a little longer. And I’m really glad there are little kids out there who get to see pictures of their stuffed animals and dolls with little fake hospital beds and casts as they “rest & heal” before returning to them good as new. Like what a sweet thing to do with your life.

It’s also so good for normalising the idea of illness, hospitals and recovery not being bad or scary places, even if sometimes they’re not very nice, because the people there are doing kind things to make you better so you can go back home. No one knows which kids are going to end up dealing with major traumatic illnesses or injuries, and having a safe framework for the idea of a hospital, a safe, painless, vicarious hospital experience is such valuable preparation

So, I recently smacked my knuckle against a cart at work. It immediately bruised and swelled (I'm fine, that's not the point of this). It got me thinking how any of your Bucky AUs would react to reader coming home with a minor injury like that.
Chubby Alpha Bucky: So he felt your flare of pain through the bond and the only reason he wasn't already busting down the doors at your job to get you was your phone call reassuring your alpha that yes you're okay, yes you're going to finish your shift, yes you're sure Bucky.
So he turned the truck around and waited for you, ice packs, snacks and lotion on the coffee table. Grumbling the entire time, making sure that you knew through the bond that he's not going to be happy until he sees your injury.
Your car is still in drive when he flings open the door, he puts in park, unbuckles your seat belt and hoists you into his arms. You shouldn't laugh but he's so adorable when he's cranky and worried over you.
You show him your swollen knuckle and he vows to kick the carts ass. By the time you're actually in the house, you're crying from laughing so hard.
Bucky plops you on the couch, puts a snack on your belly and orders you to let him take care of you. He ices your hand and then massages it gently, his large fingers rubbing soothing circles over the tender skin.

my nephew recently turned 2 years old and his new favorite word is "money" (we have NO idea why because our family doesn't have any of it😂😂) and every time he waddles up to me and says "money?" it makes me think of Bumblebee going up to Uncle Steve and Uncle Sam with her chubby little hand outstretched asking for some monies to take her mama or papa to lunch and she's going to need everything in their wallets please because she knows her papa is a growing man and eats a lot😂
my nephew also knows "please" but doesn't quite know that he needs to wait for an answer before taking what he wants because he loves going up to people who are eating and says "please" and just takes something off of their plate 😭😭
That's Bee. She waddles up to her uncles, hand out. "Can I has monies pwease?"
These guys are hardened mobsters, nothing fazes or impresses them. Except Bumblebee in her teddy bear onesie and her sweet little voice. "I needs it. Cause I wanna take Papa to lunch."
Does she really need a few hundred in cash?
No.
Is she getting a few hundred in cash?
Absolutely.
Steve never imagined he'd give a stuffed dino his wallet but if Bee says Mr. Tato needs new shoes for all his feets, then he's getting new shoes. Judging by the way Bee skillfully raided his wallet, getting his money and credit cards, they're going to be expensive ones.
Bee takes cash and credit! But only unlimited black cards! A real material girl.
I hope Sam got his phone back lol Steve can live without cufflinks

Your weekly trip to the farmers market was one you looked forward to. A place for merchants to come together to offer an abundance of products, there was always something to browse or discover. Today you only had one thing on your list: berries for your pies. Frozen fruit did the job, but you preferred to bake your pies with fresh fruit. Buying from the market was also a way to support local farmers. Maybe one day you'd even bag a handsome farmer for yourself. It was a silly fantasy, of course, but your mind liked to wander some days.
