Way to go Square!

There's hardly solution out there that matches what Square offers for my business. Starting from the convenience of taking payments on the square reader to managing accounting in the application, every detail is already taken care by Square's in-built technology. Thank you sincerely.

Great helpful patient rep helped me

Great helpful patient rep helped me. I do wish English was better - hard to understand heavy accent. Also no fault of rep that you can only reach a person during day which is most difficult time for me to call with having two littles to watch.
The website can not be accessed by all servers so that means my customers walk since square only accessible from Google server or whatever…I’m not happy about that aspect and will check if that is an issue with Shopify. If not I’m changing to Shopify or something else than square. I need all customers no matter what server!

Love this app

Love this app. So many great features. I enjoy that it shows you what has and has not yet been transferred to your account. You can add notes and photos, and issue refunds easily if warranted. Custom discounts are also able to be created.
Another feature I enjoy is that you can respond to customer feedback.

Won’t release my funds

This company is holding money that has been paid by my clients and has given no explanation besides sorry we have deactivated your account due to payment terms but no explanation. I have had payments successfully paid out by them only when I had a balance of $1500 in my account they closed it and are holding my money. They won’t refund the money to the clients and won’t pay it out to my bank. I should have read others reviews before doing business with them. I saw some people have had 9k, 20k being held for over 180 days. Don’t do business with this company! They will deactivate your account hold your money continue to earn interest on it and run you in circles when you try to talk to someone about it.

Receiving an organizing Payments lifesaver

Don’t really like the fees, but these are what they are other than that amazing experience working with Square. I love their invoices. Literally has been a game team here for my small business and my clients. Love it. They make receiving and organizing my payments so easy.

This is not reputable business at all .

I've tried to signup and doing business with square about a month ago bad experiences but i still lucky as its only for testing period of time .
I can't even talk to anyone over the phone about it because they will just repeat several times that they are not allowed to discuss businesses that were closed for "fraud" and then hang up on you. You will see the automatic answer if you tried to email them for sure .

I hadn't even conducted business or even run a test transaction. I had just opened a debit account and put $500 in it for our pop-up shop (common books and pins), and they instantly blocked us for alleged fraud and just took our money. Try it you will see the same result .

Square is easy to setup and work seamless

Square is easy to setup and work seamless with our POS. Westford Florist has been looking for alternative for merchant processors which offer lowers rates, but the catch is that you have to process a lot to get these low rates. Also merchant processors change insane fees per month for credit card machine to use in our flower store. They are not flexible and difficult to work with. Takes days to get someone to contact you back. Square fitted the bill for Westford Florist. Credit card machines are modern and slick. Customers love them for how easy is to process a payment on the counter. We ended up having two credit card processing machines in our Westford MA store. The only concern is that Square requires you to manually enter credit cards into the credit card machine for phone orders instead entering the numbers into the POS. This has to do with Square not allowing API access from the Floral POS we use. I guess this would not be an issues if we use Square POS, however as flower show we need POS designed for a florists.

Totally satisfied!

Had so much trouble with other methods of being paid, I sell my goods in seasonal craft fairs. But once I started using Square it has been smooth sailing and I have even sold more because of how easy it is for my customers.

Square, got any plans to remedy this?

Square is a wonderful way to take credit card payments… However, I I think they take way too much money per transaction. I know there’s a standard fee for running credit cards and I still think it’s bullshit and I still think Square can do better.

Also, I really appreciate that Square has website shop options but they aren’t that great. Creating my website using Square was not as easy or intuitive as I felt it should be. And I think it’s really silly that you can only Photograph of your item listing that doesn’t even make sense.

Loyalty at its finest!

Customer service with square is amazing! I have never dealt with a non-local company that goes above and beyond for their customers. As a business owner myself, we have never had an issue with square software regarding our invoices or payment process. We highly recommend Square Up and will continue our business with them on our future endeavors.

Stole my money for a non-functioning website

This company is nothing but a bunch of con artists. I paid $120 to direct my domain to my portfolio site. The site worked just fine for the first 30 days, which coincidentally enough, is the only time frame for a refund. I didn't know that until almost six months later when I was informed my site wasn't working by family members.

When I requested a refund, they told me there was nothing they could do because I hadn't filed a customer service ticket in the 30-day window. This was a portfolio site that I rarely visited. I had no idea there was an issue!

When I filed a complaint with the BBB, their reps repeatedly told me that the site worked fine when it most certainly did not. They also refused to admit their mistake. Stay far away from this company. They are a bunch of crooks!

I am in my mid 60s and dislike new…

I am in my mid 60s and dislike new things , I had reopened a 30 year business , did not want to go through looking for CC machine vendors, my grand niece told me to use square, the set up was super easy I could do myself, and have never had any issues with payments or anything. Lets keep selling!!!

I love using Square for all of my…

I love using Square for all of my credit card payments at my small business. Square is very easy to use. Square doesn't charge an arm and a leg for the processing fees. Love how Square let me make payments on the hardware equipment and the payments were very cheap every month.
