Overview
Jack the Ripper is a gruesome and unsolved part of London's history. We have lived in the centre of London for over 20 years (We lived for 5 years right in Whitechapel, the East end of london, where the Jack the Ripper murders took place). We have worked in the square mile (financial district) which borders the East End and know the pubs, and restaurants and buildings that were standing in 1888 when the murders took place. We have our theories of who Jack the Ripper was.... This is one of our favourite pieces of London history as it contains a Royal link......

Tour guide was focused on the royal conspiracy, didnt visit any fo the murder sites or key areas, just areas that were similar to those back in victorian times, alot of key facts and details skimmed over. Advertised as 2 hours, was finished in 1 hour.

Fantastic! Rob was great and very knowledgeable. Even though it was pouring rain it was still a lot of fun!

As someone who knew nothing about JTR, Jamie did a great job filtering out myth vs history. He also brought up sensitive social dilemmas and the need for further social reform and pro feminism movements that have made an impact but how much further we need to go. Highly recommend.
-
Great tour guide and visuals! Way too many people on the tour but it didn’t stop the tour from being successful. Would definitely recommend it.

This guy writes book about this stuff and is such a great storyteller! A lot of walking , but very interesting sites. We really enjoyed the tour

The tour guide was excellent. I would have preferred him answering the phone when I tried contacting him though prior to the tour.

Our tour guide Mick was awesome. He literally has written the book on Jack The Ripper. The history was thoroughly explained and we were taken to the sites of all the murders. Mick also showed pictures. His knowledge and attention to detail was admirable. At the end we all gathered in one room and viewed some more slides. By far the most thorough tour I’ve ever been on.

Excellent story telling, images and tour. Highly recommend! I'm going to be doing some research to work on creating a theory about who jack the ripper was!!
-
Most excellent tour - very detailed and in depth information. Would absolutely recommend- lots of walking, so if that is an issue take that into consideration- but if not, it is a most excellent walking tour.

It was a great tour and the tour guide did it in a "fun" way. Although I don't know if you can say that about this tour, seeing what it is about. The guide told the story in a vivid way. He also warned before showing the pictures so if you want to travel with someone who can't deal with the graphic pictures that is okay.
