Procomp, a Finnish company offering logistics and homecare solutions, has sold its logistics software division to TSS. This company will continue as an independent company of Total Specific Solutions (“TSS”) under the name Procomp Solutions Oy (“Procomp”). Procomp has a planning solution specifically for the transportation and logistics vertical. It is the fifth company to join TSS in Finland and the 18th in the Nordic region.
Procomp delivers advanced logistics planning tools and methods to tackle any challenge within logistics. The R² solution provides operational logistics control and helps optimize personnel and equipment. The software helps planners in the sector with resource and order management, pricing and billing, route planning, and communication. Plus, it offers its users various mobile functionalities.
Mika Savolainen, General Manager at TSS: "We are excited to have Procomp join us in Finland. We have experience in logistics within TSS but not yet in the Nordics. So, Procomp is a welcome addition, adding a new domain to our region. The R² solution gives Procomp’s clients access to planning, monitoring, and operational control based on artificial intelligence and heuristic algorithms, which in the long term affects the reduction of overtime, the rationalization of work schedules, and well-being at work.
