Olympic heroes, '90s television stars, a fake heiress and Eric Roberts — the case of Season 33 of "Dancing With the Stars" has it all.
The show released its full lineup on Sept. 4 after previously revealing that Olympic bronze medalist Stephen Nedoroscik, the viral sensation known as "Pommel Horse Guy," will be part of the action.
An Instagram video shared by the show gave a look at all 13 contestants who will be vying for this season's Mirrorball Trophy.
Nedoroscik isn't the only Olympic star from Paris who will be showing off his dance moves, as women's rugby standout Ilona Maher is also part of the cast. The star of the bronze medal-winning rugby sevens team and champion of body positivity also recently appeared on a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover.
Other contestants include former "Beverly Hills, 90210" actor and reality star Tori Spelling, plus another '90s TV legend, "Family Matters" star Reginald VelJohnson.
Anna "Delvey" Sorokin, 33, the "fake heiress" and con artist who served two years in prison for financial crimes, will also be hitting the dance floor in the upcoming season. Sorokin was played by Julia Garner in the hit Netflix series "Finding Anna" about Sorokin posing as a fake heiress in New York City high society.
In promotional photos for Season 33, Sorokin can be seen wearing an ankle monitor she is required to use under the terms of her house arrest since being released from prison in 2021. She will dance with pro Ezra Sosa on the show.
It's not clear how Sorokin was granted permission to film the show in Los Angeles. Her spokesperson told The Associated Press she can only travel within 70 miles of her home base in New York under the terms of her house arrest, but didn't comment on any changes to those rules. Sorokin is currently fighting a case by immigration authorities who said she overstayed her visa and must be deported to her native Germany.
There is also a reality show contingent among this year's dancers. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Phaedra Parks, "The Bachelor" star Joey Graziadei and the most recent star of "The Bachelorette," Jenn Tran, are all part of the cast.
Former New England Patriots wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola, veteran actor Eric Roberts, "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" actor Chandler Kinney, former NBA star center Dwight Howard, and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Brooks Nader will also be vying for the title.
Nedoroscik was the first star of Season 33 announced on Thursday, Aug. 22.
"From Paris to #DWTS!🥉 We’re thrilled to welcome pommel horse legend @stephen_nedoroscik as the first star of the season, premiering live Tuesday, September 17 on ABC and Disney+! Next day on Hulu," the show wrote in the caption of an Instagram post.
The 25-year-old captured hearts in Paris and beyond as his dorky demeanor would change in a matter of seconds as he would shed his glasses to emerge into a powerhouse gymnast on the pommel horse — leading some to call him the Clark Kent of gymnastics.
Nedoroscik's performance on the pommel horse led Team USA to the podium for the first time since 2008 in the men's team final, winning the bronze medal. He also won another bronze in the individual pommel horse event.
While Nedoroscik has clinched a spot on "DWTS," he spoke about the possibility of appearing on the dancing show in an interview with Access Hollywood on Aug. 14.
When asked if he would ever compete on "DWTS," he left the door open.
"One of my biggest insecurities is dancing, personally," he said. "But I'm always the type of guy that pushes boundaries, like even just competing at the Olympics is a very uncomfortable environment, and I've gotten comfortable with being uncomfortable, so definitely not out of the question."
Fans looking to watch Nedoroscik and other stars dance on the "DWTS" stage can tune in for the new season when it premieres Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
