The six degrees of Kevin Bacon has given way to the six-pack of Kevin Bacon.
The veteran actor posted a shirtless picture of himself on his Instagram page July 8 in honor of turning — what else? — 66.
“This is 66,” the “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” star captioned the shot, which features him gazing ahead as he leans backward while decked out in a pair of blue shorts and a button-down shirt that’s undone, showing off his chest and stomach.
“Not too shabby!” exclaimed his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, in the comments.
Sedgwick also honored her hubby with a brief Instagram slideshow on her page set to Linkin Park’s “One More Light.”
“Bacon’s #1 fan. Happy Birthday @kevinbacon!” she captioned the post.
In the video, she professed her love for the “Footloose” star.
“If you were to ask me about bacon, I would say ... Bacon can be a delicious part of a balanced breakfast. But if you asked me on a deeper level, I would say ... (Kevin) Bacon is the love of my life, my only one, happy birthday!” she wrote on the clip.
Sedgwick and Bacon have been married for over 35 years and have two kids, but don’t ask them for the secret sauce on how to stay together.
“No secret. Never have the secret,” Bacon told TODAY.com last year. “The secret is don’t ask a celebrity on how to stay married.”
