Britain’s Princess Anne is recovering after what Buckingham Palace calls “an incident” at her home on June 23.

“The Princess Royal has sustained minor injuries and concussion following an incident on the Gatcombe Park estate yesterday evening,” the palace said in a statement.

“Her Royal Highness remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, as a precautionary measure for observation and is expected to make a full and swift recovery," the palace continued. "The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”

Buckingham Palace also said in a statement that she “is receiving appropriate expert care” and that her engagement for the upcoming week “will be postponed.”

“Her Royal Highness is recovering well, is in a comfortable condition and is being kept in hospital as a precautionary measure for further observation,” Buckingham Palace continued.

Anne, 73, is the only daughter and second oldest of the four kids the late Queen Elizabeth II had with her husband, the late Prince Philip, along with King Charles III, Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

Anne shares two kids, Peter, 46 and Zara, 43, with her first husband, Olympic gold medalist Mark Phillips. The couple divorced in 1992. That same year, she married Sir Timothy Laurence.
