Hoda Kotb is all smiles as the Paris Olympics begin!
Following a late night covering the Games opening ceremony, the TODAY co-anchor shared a candid glimpse into her morning in the City of Light.
“OK good morning,” Hoda says in the Instagram video shared July 27. “We finished up at 1 a.m. yesterday, and I woke up and it was almost 10 in the morning.”
“Anyway, blackout shades rock,” she adds, saying that she was headed to the gym before another “fun day” of Olympic coverage for TODAY.
In a subsequent video, Hoda is smiling and panting while sporting wired headphones.
“I’m in the gym, I’m trying,” she says with a laugh. “But guess what’s on the TV — the opening ceremony.”
Hoda then pans the camera in front of her to show a recap of all the excitement from the day before playing on the gym's television screen.
“I get to watch Céline twice!” she says of Céline Dion’s performance during the opening ceremony. She then showed a closer shot of the powerful show in a third video.
Hoda captioned the Instagram carousel, “Good am! Starting my morning with a workout #todaystheday .. and @celinedion.”
Since arriving in Paris earlier this week, Hoda has been giving fans an inside look into her journey covering this year's Summer Olympics.
On July 25, she shared two videos on Instagram of her driver giving her a tour of Paris as she took in how the city has transformed for the Games. That same day, Hoda shared the stunning view from her Parisian hotel room.
Later that night, Hoda attended Prelude to the Olympics, where she shared moments with TODAY's Willie Geist, Snoop Dogg, Charlize Theron, Zac Efron, Elizabeth Banks and more.
In another moment of smiles, laughs and dancing, Hoda shared a video getting ready and dancing to “Praising You” by Rita Ora featuring Fatboy Slim.
“Nothin like a hotel room party!” Hoda captioned the video. “#praising you @officialfatboyslim @ritaora our summer olympic song!”
