Jason Kelce's gotta be thrilled on this lovely Tuesday morning ... 'cause the beloved "Backyard Sports" video game franchise is officially coming back!!

Playground Productions announced the big news just minutes ago ... saying Pablo Sanchez, Pete Wheeler, Stephanie Morgan and the rest of the Backyard Kids will return "in the coming months."

The company said the relaunch will feature the same aesthetic the games had back in the '90s and '00s ... so it'll be incredibly nostalgic for fans who spent countless hours in front of the computer back in the day.

The 2024 Paris Olympics kick off in three days, but the International Olympic Committee just invested in an entirely new field of competition -- announcing the creation of the Olympic Esports Games!

The IOC held a vote to officially create the Esports Olympics at its 142nd session on Tuesday ... with seemingly no one opposing the move.

This vote comes on the heels of the IOC and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announcing a joint partnership to host the inaugural tournament in Saudi Arabia in 2025.

Friday is the official launch of EA Sports College Football 25 ... but fans who dropped a few extra bucks were able to get their hands on it earlier this week -- and the player count is mind-blowing!!

According to Electronic Arts, since the game had a soft launch on Monday ... 2.2 million unique players have stepped onto the virtual gridiron to give the company's return to college football a try. In addition, EA's subscription service, EA Play, saw 600,000 players take advantage of the trial period.

Ever since the company announced the game back in February 2021, anticipation has been through the roof ... as fans were without a new installment following the release of NCAA Football 14 in 2013.

Arch Manning just gave college football fans an early gift ... revealing Tuesday he will be in EA Sports' new College Football 25 video game!!!

The 19-year-old University of Texas quarterback announced the big news in a fun video on his X page that featured his uncle, Eli Manning.

In the ad, the New York Giants legend throws on a headset and gives his nephew some pre-snap instructions. The camera then cuts to Arch, who's on the sticks playing the upcoming installment of the video game series as himself.

We ain't sayin' you're "old" ... but when you start shopping for nostalgia items it means you've at least reached a certain age.

Let's face it ... nothing is ever going to compare to that first time you had a controller in your hand or made that virginal frog hop across your -- now comically small -- TV screen.

Now back to slinging insults ... if the wood-grained Atari 2600+ was your first console then you're likely of a certain generation. If you happen to be here for any reason other than nostalgia than maybe you have a kink for old stuff ... hey this is a judge free zone.

The Atari is back and the new Atari 2600+ is a strikingly faithful reproduction of the original ... but can now actually connect to your modern TV.

Same thing goes for the Playstation Classic ... which emulates games originally released on its 1994 PlayStation console.

The Atari reissue comes in at $129.99 on Amazon ... while the Playstation Classic comes in at $65.49 (after initial backlash over its $100 price tag).

And if those are either too pricey ... or just don't scratch that nostalgia itch in the exact right way ... we have another reissue.
