Cristiano Ronaldo has tried to settle the GOAT debate after declaring himself to be football's Greatest Of All Time (GOAT). The Portuguese superstar also explained why he is ahead of Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona and Pele.
Ronaldo, who has won five Ballon d'Or awards and many other honours, believes he is a more complete player than Argentine star Lionel Messi and legendary forwards Diego Maradona and Pelé.
In a conversation with La Sexta, Ronaldo was asked about his thoughts on the GOAT discussion, to which he replied: "I think I'm the most complete player there has ever been. That's my opinion. It could be a question of taste but I think it's me. I do everything in football. I head well, I take set pieces well, I shoot well with my left foot, I'm fast, I'm strong, I jump.
"Taste is one thing, saying this, that or that, whether you prefer Messi, Pele or Maradona, I hear it and I respect it but to say that Cristiano isn't complete is a lie. I'm the most complete. I don't see anyone better than me and I tell you that with all my heart."

Cristiano Ronaldo Takes Savage Dig at Erik ten Hag
Cristiano Ronaldo also made pointed remarks about some of the managers he's worked with throughout his illustrious career.
In the same interview, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner revealed, "I had some really bad coaches. Some of them don't have a f*cking clue about football at all…".
While Ronaldo refrained from naming specific individuals, his comments have sparked speculation about which managers he was referring to. Social media quickly pointed out former Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag as the one in the firing line.
