Not bad. Not good either. Hey Rick, reverend is an adjective not a noun. Good grief. Teen reading.
Scary mystery

This is the first book that I've read written by this author. When I first starting reading this book, it reminded me of Kiss the Girls by James Patterson. Scary images of a murderer and how he violated the women. However, this novel quickly developed into an unique plot. I was looking for something that would keep my attention to the end and this book definitely did that. I hope to see more of these characters in future books. I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.
Great Book!

Another great book by a solid writer. I couldn't put it down and ended up finishing it in a day. Can't wait for Mofina's next novel to be released.
A TOTAL SUSPENSE PAGE TURNER

First book I've read by Mofina and I'm sure it won't be my last. I liked the way he structured his chapters, he had 3 separate character perspectives (Karen's, Jason Wade's, and the detectives on the case) he focused on that ultimately converged into the main story of hopefully saving Karen's life and catching the killer. He covered each of these 3 main perspectives in separate chapters. The chapter's were short yet seemed full of information that focused on the suspense. This book had a whopper of an ending too. I actually made gasping noises out loud when I read the conclusion. Now I feel as though I've hyped it up so much it will be a let down if you read it so.... actually the book wasn't all that good, pretty predictable but a good read when you're bored. Hope you like it. As a disclosure, while reading this I was also reading about true life serial killers, what suprised me was the trippy dreams I was getting, not from my non-fictional serial killer book, but from this fictional one.
HOLY COW ... the suspense is OVERWHELMING!

(Because others before me have summarized it, I will not.) This is another MOFINA thriller that caught me from the very first page! Altho SCARY, SCARY, SCARY in all the right places... it was one that I could not put down! A multiple-layered plot that takes many twists from the first to the last page! This was an addictive page turner for me. I wholeheartedly give this a SIX on the 5-star scale. I've read all of MOFINA's books and altho I always think the next one can not be better than the last...I have to say, this one is my favorite of them all.
Another fantastic thriller from Rick Mofina!

Do you like a great thriller that grabs your attention from the very first page and keeps you on the edge of your seat to the very end? Or one that truly scares you out of your wits? If the answer is yes, then I suggest you read THE DYING HOUR as soon as you can because it's definitely one that you DO NOT want to miss! Jason Wade is a rookie reporter trying to make a name for himself at the Seattle Mirror, and needs a big story to help him do this. Then Karen Harding's car is found abandoned on a stretch of highway with no sign of her and despite the fact that her sister says she's okay, he feels something just isn't right with this case. He becomes determined to find out for himself what happened, so he goes off searching for answers no matter what it costs, even if it's his job. What he and the police discover is just too horrible for me to put into words so you'll just have read it and find out for yourself. Rick Mofina is one of the hottest new authors around today and he just keeps getting better and better with each new book. He's on the top of my favorites! His characters are people you will surely connect with and find yourself caring for to the point where you're cheering them on through it all. So do yourself a favor and find out for yourself just how great he is, if you haven't already done so. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
