Woman, 40, accused of stalking Prince George is ‘a royal superfan’ who was convicted of hotel fraud
A WOMAN accused of stalking Prince George is a royal superfan in love with their fairytale lives, her mum said.
Unemployed holistic healer Louise Chantry, 40, who was convicted of a hotel fraud this year, was released on bail.
Police arrested her on Wednesday after she allegedly turned up twice in 24 hours at George’s new school.
But her mum Rhona Crawford, 75, said: “She wouldn’t have done any harm to George.
"He would have been safe with her.
"She just loves the royal family and loves kids.”
She said her daughter especially adores George’s parents Kate and William as they “represent the ideal family life she would like to have”.
Rhona, from Bath, went on: “People were very much in love with Diana when she was alive, this is similar. It’s a fairytale. It’s a fantasy.”
Chantry, from Angmering, West Sussex, recently split from her husband David, 42, after six years.
She has also struggled to find work and was fined £100 in June for fraud after racking up hotel bills without paying.
Rhona, from Bath, said: “She’s been under a lot of stress.
"She has no children herself. She wants stability, a home she is happy in.
"I’m very sad this has happened, it’s a horrible incident.”
Royal cops were alerted after Louise turned up in the lobby at £20,000-a-year private school Thomas’s in Battersea, South West London, on Tuesday.
She came back the next day and was arrested on suspicion of attempted burglary, sparking a major security probe.
A source said the matter was being treated as “stalking”.
She was bailed pending further enquiries until October.

Harry grasps nettle
PRINCE Harry taught youngsters how to pick nettles without getting stung, writes Jack Royston.
He told kids aged 12 to 15 learning about the countryside and conservation that they should be careful to touch only the underside of the leaves. Harry, 33, sipped nettle tea on a visit to the Chatham Green Project in Essex.
A day earlier, he met Westminster attack hero MP Tobias Ellwood at Kensington Palace ahead of this month’s Invictus Games for veterans.
Tory Mr Ellwood was appointed the MoD minister with responsibility for veterans shortly after trying in vain to save PC Keith Palmer, stabbed halting a terrorist in March.
