Valentine Cookies!

Here's a little FYI...with Valentines day quickly approaching, don't listen if someone tells you they don't want or need anything, it's not true.  No one really needs anything, but they do want to know they are loved.  My husband would probably feel the love if I cooked a nice dinner, which I totally could, but we both know if we want a delicious Valentine's dinner we're going out. So what are you doing this Valentine Day?

I decided to do what I do best, make cookies!  Valentine cookies for teachers.

Valentine Cookies!

No need to wait around for the perfect Valentine to make you happy.  You can make your own happiness.  And your own cookies!

Heart Shaped Cookies!

Love Notes Cookie Platter!

It seemed like such a good idea.  Then I made the cookies and started to think, why would anyone need a Love Notes Cookie Platter?  I mean, maybe if you were having a piano recital?  Or a wonderful Valentine gift for your music teacher?  Other than that, I just don't know.  Since I went to all the work making the cookies, I thought I'd share with you.

Heart Cut Out Cookies!

Do you want to make heart cut out cookies?  Which in this case means a heart cut out of the center of a cookie.  Maybe there is a better name for them, like Layered Love?

Mini Hershey Kiss Cookies!

When I bought the little Hershey Kiss cookie cutter, I couldn't wait to use it.  But, like I've said before, Valentine's Day comes and goes and the little cutter gets packed away until next year.  Here it is, not even February and I've already made the little chocolate cookies.

Then I took it one step further and packaged them just like the original Hershey Kisses.

Lace Valentine Cookies!

Do you want to impress your Valentine?  I'm here to tell you, you can!  Would you believe no intricate piping is involved?  As you probably already know, I love the chocolate cookies I've been making and I really, really LOVE these cookies.  So simple, yet so elegant.

French Kisses!

Bonjour! Wouldn't it be so exciting for me to be sending a blog post from France?  Because I'm not expecting European travel to happen any time soon, I decided to send French Kisses.  It all started when I got my new Eifel Tower and Poodle cookie cutters.

XOX Valentine Cookies with Video!

I'm on a roll... a chocolate sugar cookie roll.  It's my new love, I can't stop making chocolate sugar cookies and I can't stop eating them!  It's the perfect cookie for Valentine's Day, right?  I made XOX cookies to show you the love.

Wafer Paper Valentine Cookies!

You know the saying, "Out of sight, out of mind"?  Well, I've had this beautiful sheet of wafer paper stored away.  It seems, every holiday ends and I have a stack of projects I didn't get finished.  Does it happen to you?  Before you know it, the holiday is over and it's on to the next.  Seriously, I need an assistant... any body out there?

This is such an easy way to decorate cookies I thought I should share.
So easy, you'll look like a pro without any training.

Kiss Cookies XO XO

I've been making lots of cookies, including cookies for Valentine's Day.  Because I can't count very well, I baked more cookies than I needed for my last order.  I was relieved, because I had cut a few giant Hershey Kiss shaped cookies and when it came time to decorate, I really wasn't feelin' it.  So I set them aside, hoping something would come to me before I was finished decorating for the day.  Nope, just blank cookies waiting for an artist to bring them to life and this artist was tired and hungry, so off to the freezer they went.

A few days later, I woke up knowing what I wanted to do with the cookies!  When you think of Hershey Kiss Cookies, you definitely think of the plump little chocolate kiss stuck in the middle of a peanut butter cookie, right?  Today, it's a first for me, making kiss cookies without any chocolate.  How can that be?  Well, like this...

Chocolate Filled Gingerbread Hearts!

Well, it's snowing again and my house smells like gingerbread.  No it's not Christmas, but it sure smells like it.  Last year I made the executive decision...gingerbread is not just for Christmas.

Because I love the combination of chocolate and gingerbread (well I pretty much love the combination of chocolate with anything) I decided to make a few gingerbread shaped hearts filled with a red chocolate center.

Valentine Star Wars Cookies & Free Printable!

I'm sorry.  I really had no intention of posting Valentine Cookies so early, it just happened.

Let's talk about Star Wars...and I am saying this very quietly, I haven't seen any of the Star Wars movies.  I know, I might be the only one on the planet that hasn't seen the movies, but I did make cookies.  And that should count for something.

After the cookies were baked and sealed with chocolate I decided they would make the perfect Valentine Cookie for your favorite Star Wars fan, with the FREE printable tag!

You've Got Arrow Mail!

You've Got Arrow Mail!  I've been wanting to say that for a long time and today I can because, well, You've Got Arrow Mail (cookies).  Not knowing how I was going to make them, I just knew I wanted to make them.

Tree of Love Cookies!

I'm sure you know by now, each Sunday, I'm partying over at Hungry Happenings.   I really enjoy my visit and try to come up with something new and exciting.  I don't know if you would call a tree exciting, but a Tree of Love...now that's exciting!

Easy Conversation Heart Cookies!

Did I just say EASY conversation heart cookies?  In no way have they ever been easy for me until I found this imprint cutter.  My hand writing is not great, really, it's not.  So, to go messing up my cookies piping on words is not an option.  Using fondant, I could create perfect lettering every time.  Just roll and stamp, then place on top of the cookie and PERFECTION every time.

Valentine Cookies!

I couldn't let Valentine's Day go by without adding more cookies.  You know, the conversation heart kind.  After seeing the box in the dollar spot at Target, I thought it would make a comfy place for the cookies.

Edible Cookie Card!

Today, I'm sharing an idea I had several years ago, they were a hit with my business and I'm sure they will be a hit with yours!  Edible Cookie Cards!

I'm pretty sure these cookies will fit the bill if you're a teacher. To give to your students or better yet, for your students to give to you!  Mom's are you listening?

Valentine Frog Cookies!

You've probably seen the frog valentines just about every where.  Oh, and the mustache valentines pretty much every where too.  So I thought, why not put the two together?
