Islamabad:On the orders of the Controller General of Accounts, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has instructed all its attached departments, as well as its own offices to update the data and information of their employees next month.
Officials told 'The News' that the employees receiving their salaries and payments through the System Application Products of Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR) were required to review and update their information accurately. They said the initiative was meant to prevent any potential issues in the future and enhance the efficiency of administrative operations. The officials said the ministry had ordered a thorough examination of the salary slips of the employees to facilitate the necessary corrections and updates.
They added that the attached departments were instructed to provide specific documentation depending on the type of information requiring amendment. The officials said for corrections regarding their own name, father's or spouse's name, employees were required to submit copies of their pay slips and CNIC, while the date of birth corrections necessitated the submission of pay slips, CNIC, matriculation certificate's copies, and the original service book. They added that in cases of updating the date of entry into government services or designation changes, relevant documents such as appointment letters, office orders, and service books were to be furnished.
The officials said corrections in the thirteen-digit CNIC and IBAN required the provision of appropriate documentation as specified in the letter of the ministry. They said the directives extended to various attached departments of the ministry, including the Federal Directorate of Education, National Commission for Human Development, Pakistan Institute of Education, Pakistan Manpower Institute, Basic Education Community Schools, National Talent Pool, Government Polytechnic Institute for Women, and Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO, as well as the in charge of the National Institute of Science and Technical Education Devolution Cell.
