E. B. White

E. B. White was an essayist, a novelist, and a grammarian, best known for books like Stuart Little and Charlotte’s Web. He was also a contributing editor at The New Yorker and co-wrote the style guide The Elements of Style. His Atlantic essay, “Death of a Pig,” was a nonfiction prototype for Charlotte’s Web.
