Mike Tyson’s boxing record

Mike Tyson is 50-6 in professional boxing fights with 44 wins by knockout.

Tyson is a member of the boxing hall of fame, having been undisputed heavyweight champion as well as the youngest heavyweight champion in history. Tyson became famous for his ferocious punching power, scoring 33 knockouts in his first 37 fights.

In 1987, Tyson became the first fighter to unify all three heavyweight belts when he defeated reigning IBF champion Tony Tucker via unanimous decision, becoming undisputed champion. Tyson defended his titles against Larry Holmes, Michael Spinks, Frank Bruno and more before being defeated for the first time in 1990 by James "Buster" Douglas in one of the biggest upsets in boxing history.

Tyson retired from boxing in 2005 after being defeated in three of his final four fights.

Jake Paul’s boxing record

Jake Paul holds a professional boxing record of 10-1, with seven wins by knockout.

Paul started his boxing career competing against celebrities including former NBA player Nate Robinson and fellow YouTuber Ali Eson Gib, each of whom he knocked out in the opening two rounds. He soon pivoted to fighting former UFC fighters, including Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren and Anderson Silva.

Against professional boxers Paul is 2-1, having suffered his lone career defeat via split decision in 2023 to Tommy Fury, brother of former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. His two victories came against club-level fighters Ryan Bourland and Andre August, each of whom he knocked out in the first round.

In July, Paul defeated former UFC fighter and BKFC champion Mike Perry by sixth round technical knockout, on the same date he was originally slated to face Tyson. Paul's fight against Tyson will be his third fight in 2024.
