Manifesting Growth with Sweat and Perseverance. We encourage teenagers to choose a highly challenging task, such as mountain climbing, swimming, running, etc. This challenge is not only a test of physical fitness but also a significant test of adult perseverance and determination. Just like facing the unknown future, when encountering difficulties and feeling exhausted and wanting to give up, there is only one belief in mind: hold on even longer, or take one more step, and you will reach the goal!
When you complete the challenge, what you feel is not just a challenge but a symbol of spiritual growth and a sense of achievement. Growth is not just an increase in age but the strengthening of the heart and the honing of perseverance, proving your growth and maturity!

象徵著從少年「轉大人」進入成年的儀式。透過這個儀式，少年穿越過眾神與父母長輩們的護佑，帶著祝福一同朝人生的下一段旅程前進，也意味著成年將面臨更多的責任與義務。
This ceremony symbolizes the transition “from youth to adulthood”. Through this ceremony, the young move forward to the next journey in life with the blessings of gods, parents, and elders. It also signifies that becoming adulthood brings more responsibilities and obligations.

儀式流程
1. 祭拜天上聖母、開台聖王、文昌帝君
2. 奉茶謝親恩
3. 戴狀元帽出鳥母宮
4. 於觀音亭祭拜觀世音菩薩、大聖爺
5. 於廣濟宮祭拜中壇元帥(太子爺)
1. Worship Mazu, marquis conqueror of Taiwan (Koxinga), and Wunchang Dijun.
2. Offer tea to thank parents.
3. Wear the First Place Scholar Hat and leave the Niangma Temple.
4. Worship Guanyin and Great Holy king at Guanyin Pavilion.
5. Worship to Marshal of the Central Alter(Prince Najha) at Guangji Temple.

安平鳥母宮
Anping Niangma Temple
鳥母宮，原稱「姐母宮」傳統台灣民俗舉行做十六歲成年禮時，成年孩子須由父母手持的七娘媽亭之下踜過並環繞三次，少男謂之「出鳥母宮」，少女謂之「出婆姐宮」。
都是指孩童已經成年可走出守護神「婆姐」、「床母」的照顧，以示孩子已經長大，象徵著可以開始分擔家計及負起社會責任的意義。
Niangma Temple, originally called " female deity Temple," is a traditional Taiwanese ceremony for “Coming to Age of 16 event”. During the ceremony, the youth must pass under and circle three times around the Southern Min pavilion held by their parents. For boys, this is called "leaving Niangma Temple," and for girls, it is "leaving Jiemu Temple." Both signify that the child has become adulthood and can leave the protection of the guardian deities "Jiema" and " the bed god," symbolizing their readiness to start contributing to the family and take on social responsibilities.

鳥母宮由來
「鳥母」應是「姐母」語音的轉稱，姐是「婆姐」，即是指三十六婆姐，是臨水夫人指派照顧孩子的神明，母即是「床母」，在民間信仰中每一個孩子，從出生到成年皆受床母的保護，直到十六歲，舉行儀式後要把供酒澆在紙灰上，立即撤供，表示已離開床母的照顯，後來就逐漸演變出「踜桌腳」或「踜七娘媽亭」的儀式。表示「出姐母宫」。因而語音念法的相傳約定成俗般就稱為「出鳥母宮」。
"Niangma" is a transliteration of "Jiema." "Jie" refers to "po jia," the 36 po jia appointed by Lady Linshui to care for children, and "Mu" refers to " the bed god," the deity who protects each child from birth to adulthood in folk beliefs. At 16, after the ceremony, pouring wine on paper ashes and immediately removed, indicating that the child has left the protection of the bed god. This gradually evolved into the ritual of “passing under the table legs” or “the Seven Ladies Pavilion”, signifying "leaving Jiema Temple." The pronunciation conventionally became "leaving Niangma Temple."

鳥母宮歷史
2001年，安平地方人士透過社區營造的方式，凝聚各方意見討論溝通，共同策劃、出錢出力，設計一個巨型的「鳥母宮」，來呈現安平做十六歲的特色。
這座以木構組成的巨型「鳥母宮」共兩層樓六角型，總高九公尺半，底座寬五公尺半，總重一萬五千公斤。
由安平文教基金會董事長何世忠先生擔任召集人，董事孫山中、陳國崇、鄭道聰策劃，安平藝術家李維睦規劃設計執行、雕塑家梁宏、李俊聲共同執行組件的整理與搭建，安平開台天后宮以傳統科儀「淨油」地方，迎請神尊坐駕。
In 2001, local Anping residents, through community efforts, gathered opinions and planned together to create a giant "Niangma Temple" to represent the coming to age of 16 in Anping. This wooden two-story, hexagonal structure is 9.5 meters tall, 5.5 meters wide at the base, and weighs 15,000 kilograms.
It was initiated by He Shiz hong, Chairman of the Anping Cultural and Educational Foundation, and planned by directors Sun Shanzhong, Chen Guochong, and Zheng Daocong. The execution and design were led by Anping artist Li Weimu, with sculptors Liang Hong and Li Junsheng assembling the components. The Anping Kaitai Mazu Temple performed traditional rituals to invite the deities.

鳥母宮設計
鳥母宮是以基座、長柱、高台屋頂三個部分構成，用最簡單的木構方式「二夾一」進行施做，六角形基座及六根長柱詮釋安平的六角頭及安平開台天后宮的意象，高台屋頂的造型則取自於鳥巢、廟頂燕尾、漁船的龍骨等各種和「做十六歲」有關的意象，將三個設計結合在一起，遂成為目前每年七夕搭建的鳥母宮。
Niangma Temple consists of a base, long pillars, and a high platform roof, built using the simplest wooden construction method "two clips one." The hexagonal base and six long pillars symbolize the hexagonal head of Anping and the Anping Kaitai Tianhou Temple. The high platform roof design draws from bird nests, temple roof swallow tails, and boat keels, combining elements related to the coming age of 16. This structure is built annually on the seventh lunar month.
