Repealing England’s de facto onshore wind ban was an important first step, but significant reforms are needed to unlock capacity

On July 8, just days after being elected, the Labour government put onshore wind back on the agenda in England, after an almost decade-long freeze, and set ambitious targets for the whole of the UK.
