As the nights grow longer, the air grows colder, and the clouds grow heavier, we are well and truly in the midst of the autumn season. For some, that means enjoying wrapping up in a soft, cosy blanket while, for others, it means looking forward to the return of the sun and 25C temperatures.

It's never too early to start daydreaming about a return to hot sands and beautiful waters, and holidaymakers are already excitedly making plans to jet abroad for the summer, in an effort to spread the cost of an expensive holiday. Anyone looking to get those bookings in early are in luck - Jet2 and Jet2Holidays are offering exactly that.

To beat those autumn blues, the holiday tour company are already taking bookings - with the price locked in for 2024. Vacationers can pay for their dreamy holiday abroad between now and 2024, breaking the cost down into more affordable chunks.

The company has announced it's biggest Summer Sun program for 2024 with flights taking off from Bristol Airport. There are 34 sunny destinations to choose from, including new holiday packages to Naples and Bulgaria, as well as the reintroduction of flights to Izmir ad Costa de Almeria.

Though 2024 may appear off in the far-flung future, holidaymakers can book now for weekly flights to Naples, Italy, running every week between May and October. Similarly, flights will be leaving Bristol every two weeks for Bulgaria and the stunning Black Sea Coast.

Early holiday bookings mean it becomes easier to spread out the cost of a hard-earned holiday, which can make a trip abroad more affordable for many people. Travelers can also lock in their price now - before the cost of living sends the price of living up yet again.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “We know that customers are looking to book in advance so that they can get the best choice of dates, rooms and resorts, as well as lock in their price now and spread the cost. In response to this demand, we have put a hugely expanded Summer 24 Sun programme on sale nice and early.

"This is our third full Summer programme we have operated from Bristol Airport and in this short amount of time, we have experienced enormous success and growth. As a result of this, we are pleased to have on sale over one million seats for the first time and to be operating an eight aircraft from Bristol Airport for Summer 24, once again demonstrating our commitment to investing at Bristol Airport."

He added: “The scale and size of our programme, combined with our track record of looking after customers and getting them away on their holidays, means we are looking forward to a huge Summer 24, and we know that the programme will be enormously popular with customers and independent travel agents in the South West and Wales.”
