The estate was purchased in 1997 by Don Kingsborough, former president of Atari and the former head of retail at PayPal. He is also the former CEO of Worlds of Wonder, where he was the creator of the popular talking teddy bear Teddy Ruxpin. He lived in the home until 2000.
