Eligibility Clauses and Documents Required for Verification

According to the KEA, you have to meet the eligibility criteria and collect your documents to complete the admission process.

• Code A: You should have studied for at least 7 years in any government-recognized educational institution situated in the state of Karnataka. you must have appeared and passed either the SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard examination from the state of Karnataka. In any case, if you have taken 2 years to pass a standard then also, the academic year will be counted as one. 
• Code B: Your parents should have studied in the state of Karnataka for the past 7 years. You should either have the 1st/ 2nd year Pre-University Examination or the 11th and 12th standard examination certificates with you. Eligibility criteria ensure that you have studied in an educational institution run by the Karnataka government. 

• Needful Documents: You must have a list of the below needful documents during the admission process. 

  • SSLC / 10th standard mark sheet

  • 2nd PUC/ 12th standard mark sheet

  • Study certificate

  • Rural Study Certificate for complete 10 years from 1st to 10th, if claiming rural quota (generally for Code A)

  • Kannada Medium Study Certificate for complete 10 years from 1st to 10th, if claiming rural quota

  • Caste/Income Certificate issued by the Concerned Tehsildar- For SC/ST in Form-D, Category-I in Form E and 2A, 2B, 3, and 3B in Form F, if claiming reservation benefits.
