The good news is that there is no limit on the number of attempts for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. But do note that the unlimited attempts are mostly offered for engineering and agriculture courses. This means you can keep trying until you achieve the score you need to get into your desired institute.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to defining a good score in KCET. Because the competition is quite fierce and rank variations occur every year. While a score of 170-175 generally translates to a rank within the top 50, a score of 120 might place you around 350-360. So, you should analyze your rank and compare it to relevant cut-offs to understand your merit.
The Karnataka Examination Authority is known for changing its specific questions year after year. It is very rare that you will see the exact repetitions of the questions. However, you will see certain concepts and topics reappearing in different formats in the KCET previous year question papers.
In the overall engineering exam of KCET, Vignesh Nataraj Kumar secured the first rank with a score of 97.8%. He hails from the city of Bangalore in Karnataka.
