Actually it looks like Drift only has one elbow...

Like Starscream's legs being one piece, all for the sake of the gimmick.

Jazz's design reminds me of another design... something to do with pots and pies...
Anyway, his Autobot symbol is the Bayformers version, compared to the G1 versions of the rest.

And that Ratchet is perfect. Proving that the best part of Cyberverse is the Armor guys.

Autobot Roadburn wrote:That's weird, like Nathaniel Prime said that Jazz is pretty close to the PotP figure, but it also looks like his arms are based off the Classics toy. Kind of a bizarrely specific homage.
Woah, nice catch!
I didn't see that until you pointed it out.
(This makes me realize that I still need to find a Henkai Jazz for relatively cheap)

They're not, different mechanisms. In fact, the One-Step range hardly has retools to begin with, just figures using the same style over and over.
:EDIT: and this is where re-releasing characters in the same Size Class gets confusing: It's the first One-Step, not the one shown in these images. Still not a retool: different parts, but same style.

The robots look completely different, would you rather I said reshell?

Hang on, let's start over...
As said before, releasing characters multiple times in a single Size Class gets confusing. Jazz is indeed based on the first One-Step Prowl:
And from the looks of it some parts like the blasters, feet, wheels and internal mechanisms are reused. Indeed a retool or reshell. I stand corrected.

Grimlock/animated wreckgar combination dares to be stupid on a cool level, dread to thing how much the combination lowers the intelligence by.

Ok now THIS kind of babbling post is much more me. Ok, have a good day and I'mma crawl back to the Studio thread where I feel most comfortable.

Slipstream was just announced a few weeks ago, and now, she's already showing up at retail! She's a simple recolor of the Warrior Class Starscream mold, with her only other distinction being that she has lipstick. Seriously. She's a Target exclusive, though unlike Siege Red Wing, she doesn't require a Target Redcard to buy her. She's priced at $14.99, and though that price is lower than all other lines for this roughly deluxe sized mold, you do get what you pay for. Being that the whole Cyberverse line is more focused on a kid-friendly play pattern, with simpler transformations and action gimmicks, she's not a bad figure, and certainly has a striking color combo.
So what do you think, Seibertronians? Do you have any plans to pick her up on your next toy hunt? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to Seibertron for all your Transformers news!

william-james88 wrote:The Cyberverse line is easily the most ignored current Transformers line by fans. Which is ironic since it is probably the one ordered in highest quantities by retail stores. It is also ignored in the video review circuit but we have some below from fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg 1999.
Enjoy!
I reviewed the Cyberverse toys when the line was still young. I quickly found that they did terrible on YouTube. The first two I did are currently sitting at 22 and 27 views. Generations seems to do the best, followed by Studio Series. Masterpiece and exclusives are very hit or miss, and Cyberverse is largely ignored.

Speaking in broad strokes my best vids are anything kid friendly. Very little from "Adult" lines does well.

Dude Mirage you seriously scored this weekend! Hey thanks for all the updates and pics even though it’s not your main interest this is great stuff.
I’m in the same boat I don’t buy Cyberverse but I dig some of these designs and do want that Cheetor.
Posted by SGMLordMirage on August 4th, 2019 @ 12:56pm CDT
On the Cheetor, he was cool!
I was hoping to see the Seeker 3 Pak, we actually had a store clerk double check but they didn’t have anything in the back.
