TROUBLE IN RUNNING

HERO STAR (D033) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 053.

THE CONCENTRATION (H465) after the event, rider stated that his mount commenced to give ground approaching the 200M and he could offer no explanation for the horse's disappointing performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 020.

FALCON COURT (J056) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 032.

GORGEOUS VITALITY (G051) leaving the 600M was momentarily crowded. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 032.

SPEEDY CHARIOT (H193) making the first turn near the 1000M was steadied when crowded. Near the 900M was checked and lost its running - Race 048.

VERBIER (J187) near the 800M, when over-racing, was steadied to avoid heels - Race 076.

WOODFIRE CHAMP (H292) after the event, rider stated that he was not instructed to lead, but after commencing well and when caught wide in the early stages, he elected to allow his mount to stride forward and lead the event - Race 048.

E GLORY (H304) from the 400M until the 350M had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out - Race 066.

ALLOY KING (D287) after the event, rider reported that his intention was to hold a more forward position, but his mount failed to show sufficient pace to do so and as a result settled further back than intended. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 048.

PODIUM (H173) after travelling a short distance was crowded. After the 200M was eased to avoid a runner. After the race, rider reported that with the horse stepping up in distance, he was requested to take up a more forward position. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race - Race 793.

WIND SPEEDER (E281) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Making the Home Turn was held up for clear running before being shifted to the inside of a runner near the 300M - Race 048.

SAME TO YOU (H057) bumped on jumping and then shifted in. After the event, rider stated that after his mount had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 300M it then did not finish the race off thereafter and raced in a disappointing manner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 066.

HAPPY FEELING (H443) jumped only fairly and then was crowded - Race 011.
