RNLI 200: Collecting Through the Years

Since 1824, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution has saved the lives of more than 144,000 people. Through generous donations from the public, its rescue teams, teaching and campaigning, the charity have worked to champion water safety of people across the country. Reminisce over a selection of coin collection boxes and discover key moments of the charity’s work and history. This display is held in our visitor centre. It is free for all to experience and no pre-booking is necessary.

Autumn Watercolour Class with Ellie Hooi
Friday 25th October 2024 10am to 1pm
Be inspired the beautiful Autumn harvest, dormouse and red squirrels that feature on the new circulating coins of the UK. Whether you are new to drawing or a budding illustrator, Ellie will guide you through key techniques. Experiment with one-on-one guidance and support to create your own watercolour illustration, which you can then frame or make into a card. Available for guests 16 years+

Christmas Watercolour Class with Ellie Hooi

Experiment with watercolour paints and fine liner pens to draw and paint an array of native flora, robins and a Christmas puffin. Whether you are new to drawing or a budding illustrator, Ellie will guide you through some key techniques to create your own watercolour illustration to frame or share as a Christmas card.
