Very predictable plot where a superstar boxer experiences turmoil and falls to his lowest, only to be trained back up by some trainer to become number one in the world again. The fight scenes were good and entertaining, that is my most positive remark. Also, Jake Gyllenhaal's daughter in the movie was incredibly annoying, seemingly transitioning from understanding her father's struggles to wishing literal death on him and then magically back to normal as if she was possessed by the devil and nothing out of the norm had occurred.
