Audience Member it's officially been over 26 years since the original movie came out starring Jennifer Aniston! a lot has changed from sustaining natural resources to modern communications technology apart from Warwick Davis who made his debut as the titular villain in the original Mark Holton is the only returning cast member as survivor Ozzie after a slew of quality-declining sequels this direct-to-TV installment thankfully matches the spirit of the original thank goodness the new Leprechaun is played by newcomer Linden Porco who looks much more hellish this time around it's been years since his defeat in the well but the little Irish villain makes a comeback Tori Redding has passed away but her daughter, Lila arrives at the same house where the events of the first movie occurred to participate in a going-green project; solar panels and utilizing water but little do her and her friends know that the Leprechaun is lurking in the shadows he's got a whole new bag of tricks with a thirst for bloodshed to keep his pot of gold Porco is actually so much fun to watch as the resurrected Leprechaun providing more grisly deaths with a bit of comedy throw in as well these teens are pretty bad in the acting department as you'd imagine but they have enough silly lines to make the viewing enjoyable the girl who plays Lila is actually the most likable of the bunch since she has a strong tie to the Leprechaun's past and has struggled to make new friends without trying to lose them plus the fact that everyone thought her mother was insane claiming she survived the evil demonic elf before there's also plenty of callbacks to previous entries despite this being the actual-follow up to that first film some of the effects have a lot to be desired but keep in mind this is a direct-to-TV production so you can forgive them for most of it the ending is actually quite different than you'd expect, who knows if this devilish creature's work is done for sure whatever the case the past sequels just got worse and worse without any real consistency, not to mention that so-called reboot which was a HUGE step in the wrong direction it's such a sigh of relief that this time 'Leprechaun' has truly returned having a bit of classic elements as well as new ones Rated 4.5/5 Stars •  Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Cg S It is clear that the franchise has definitely gone to a more realistic approach compared to the previous sequels this is definitely the best one in the series Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review Joseph Tutorials 73% i enjoyed it when the leprechaun is on screen but the characters are really bad and the story is okay and i got used to the voice after a while it's just the characters are not good and have no character either Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/24/23 Full Review T T It's silly, of course, because it's part of the "Leprechaun" series, and that's what anyone watching this movie should expect.
