It's the height of the Cold War, and famous archaeologist Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), returning from his latest adventure, finds out his job at Marshall College is in jeopardy. I will never understand the hatred for the refrigerator scene — it’s a marvelous set-piece and very much in the spirit of the whole franchise. You want a low point? How about Shia LaBeouf’s Mutt swinging through the trees alongside a bunch of CGI monkeys?

A film that at times highlights Spielberg's Magic (™), and that is definitely not HORRIBLE, just... disappointing. Thankfully, "Dial of Destiny" ended up being a better farewell for the famous archaeologist played by Harrison Ford. Full review in Spanish.

A sad money grab using the Indiana Jones franchise to draw people in. All I could think of watching this movie was the largesse and extravagance of Raiders. A skeleton crew for a cast, an overreliance on special effects, and a lousy story to top it all off.

A decent film with decent effects for a type of movie i don't typically search to watch (prefer traditional props scenes etc - much like the earlier indiana films) but this pulls it off just enough to make it palatable. Not too cliche of a film story and decent selection of actors. Is a tad annoying is small segments, like when the chap is STUNG by a scorpion but then has indiana try to be knowledgeable but mess it up by incorrectly saying BITTEN (very very different thing), and as a character supposably a lecturer would be well-versed with a dictionary at the very least.
