4.1. Freeman–Durden Decomposition
- Volume scattering from fallen trees within the landslide areas. The presence of fallen trees within the landslide areas was confirmed by aerial photographs and field observations.
- Very rough surfaces induce a σ0hv component, leading to an erroneous volume scattering component.
- Small contribution from forest areas, even if the areas enclosed by the yellow rectangles in Figure 3 are occupied by the landslide areas.
