Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most prevalent and deadly forms of cancer. Its high mortality rate is associated with difficulties in early detection, which is crucial to survival. The onset of CRC is marked by macroscopic changes in intestinal tissue, originating from a deviation in the healthy cell dynamics of glands known as the crypts of Lieberkuhn.
