An Ada package for discrete event simulation

Published: 06 October 1982 Publication History

Abstract

This paper discusses the implications deriving from the introduction of discrete event simulation primitives into Ada and presents a package supporting the "process view of simulation".
Multiprocessing features of Ada are taken into account, since the simulation is given some parallelism by concurrently resuming all the processes with equal awakening instants.
