Foundation Board

Martin is the Senior Vice President of Government Relations for the Virginia Association of REALTORS®, the largest trade association in Virginia.  In that role he serves as the Chief Lobbyist and oversees all aspects of lobbying, political and regulatory strategy, policy development, and PAC fundraising and disbursements.  Prior to his tenure with the REALTORS®, he was a partner in a small lobbying and law firm where he specialized in land-use, residential and commercial development, pharmaceutical and technology clients and issues before the Virginia General Assembly, the Governor, the Attorney General and local governments throughout Central Virginia. An alumnus of Richard Bland College and the Virginia Commonwealth University, Martin lives in Chester with his wife of 18 years, Elizabeth (also an RBC alum) as well as their two kids Evelyn and Van.
