The podcast Affected by Altitude is hosted by Purple Row staff writers Evan Lang and Skyler Timmins, who are incredibly proud and excited to be lending their voices to more great Rockies content for you to enjoy. Joining Evan and Skyler is a rotating cast of guests hosts to talk shop about everyone’s favorite purple baseball team.
The first half of the MLB season has come to an end as we enter the All-Star break, and with that comes the draft. The Colorado Rockies made an excellent selection as 3B/OF Charlie Condon from the University of Georgia fell into their laps at third overall. Skyler and Evan discuss the first round of the draft (with a full draft recap to come later this week) and Chase Dollander in the Futures Game. Meanwhile, Michael Toglia has been on an absolute power surge since returning to the big leagues. Big Mongoose is looking to cement his role as the Rockies’ franchise first baseman. The Rockies are also looking at what moves to make this trade deadline and Germán Márquez made his triumphant return.
