      • A background within the social-housing arena
      • Experience of preparing witness statements
      • Highly proficient in housing disrepair
      • Expert in defect analysis
      • MRICS or AssocRICS Chartered Surveyor status
      • Strong experience in conducting residential surveys and identifying housing defects
      • Expertise in preparing reports compliant with the Landlord and Tenants Act Section 11 and Homes Act 2018
      • Exceptional report writing skills
      • Proficient in IT systems
      • Excellent organisational abilities and a results-driven attitude to ensure timely report delivery
      • Full UK driving licence

      Responsibilities:

In this role, you will focus on producing Part 35 expert witness reports related to housing disrepair cases. This includes inspecting properties, documenting findings, and preparing Scott Schedules, complete with inspection photographs. Inspections will vary between Single, Single Joint, and Joint inspections, based on solicitors’ instructions.
Most surveys will be conducted across the North of England.

You may also be called to act as an Expert Witness in some cases.
