Kenny Chesney wrapped up his “Sun Goes Down” tour with a three-night slate at Gilette Stadium over the weekend.
He wound up performing in front of more than 180,000 people, according to a story from MassLive.com.
And, according to Chesney, it was a pretty, awesome way to close out another successful tour.
But it was apparently not awesome for an off-duty police officer who was arrested during his show and for the woman who … well, this story is pretty wild.
Per Taste of Country, Shane Lynch, a police officer from Cranston, Massachusetts, was arrested Saturday after Foxborough police say he openly urinated on a woman in the audience.

Newsweek reported that the incident took place in the front row — an area called the pit — where Lynch is accused of unzipping his pants and urinating on the woman. He was described as “heavily intoxicated,” by Newsweek.
The site said the woman felt something and turned around to catch Lynch in the act. That is when, per Newsweek, Lynch “tried to disappear into the crowd,” before security caught him.
Newsweek said he was charged with disorderly conduct and destruction of property. The site said Lynch paid $100 in court costs and was trespassed from the stadium.
Taste of Country said Cranston Police Department police chief Michael Winquist said he was aware of Lynch’s arrest and that he would “handle the matter administratively.”
