These are a quality built water pump. The pump body is made of alluminium alloy die casting. The impellor is cast iron. Belt wheel drive can be connected to a variety of engines. It is belt driven and can be hooked up to an electric engine, petrol or diesel motor, or a tractors PTO. This pump must be filled with water in order to prime it before you pump. It's for use with clean water only. The max RPM is 3600 but you can run it slower and still pump lots of water. This pump turns counter clockwise when you are standing in front facing the pulley
