UPDATED:

Cops are hunting a rapist who attacked a woman on a Brooklyn street in the middle of the afternoon.

The 22-year-old victim told police she was speaking with the man on Junius St. near Blake Ave. in Brownsville around 3 p.m. on Aug. 30 when he shoved her to the ground and raped her.

The man then scurried off heading south on Junius St., according to law enforcement.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of injuries she sustained in the assault.

The NYPD on Friday released a photo of the suspect, who was described as over 6 feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and hat emblazoned with the words “New York,” cops said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at (800) 577-8477.
