The Young Professional Board (YPB) is comprised of individuals, under the age of 35, who believe in the Preds Foundation mission and are dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the Nashville community. Members are asked to strengthen the Preds Foundation’s awareness in the community, assist with new fundraising events, and contribute to the excitement around current events.

Our mission is to build philanthropic partnerships within our community to successfully leverage the unique assets and skills of our entire organization to improve the lives of youth and their families. Our vision is to use our distinctive set of assets to support the youth and their families in the community that we call home.

Joining the Board will give you an opportunity to network, to build leadership skills and make a positive impact on the community of Nashville.

Board Responsibilities

  • Attend a minimum of five (5) YPB meetings (occurs monthly September-May and a summer activity)
  • Assist in procuring auction items for larger Preds Foundation events
  • Assist in promotion of events
  • Attend and/or volunteer at two (2) Preds Foundation marquee events (Beer Fest, Golf Tournament, Petey’s Party, Clay Shoot, Gala, Wine Fest)
  • Help create/implement one (1) Preds Foundation fundraising event run by the YPB
  • 2-year term
