NFL HBCU Initiative Spotlight
2024 NFL Seed Kit Challenge and Experienceship
NFL Football Operations hosted 30 students at the League office in Los Angeles to conclude the 2024 NFL Seed Kit Challenge and Experienceship. For this six month initiative, students were tasked with a Seed Kit challenge to create a new NFL+ membership offering centered around offseason events and/or activations to drive subscriber acquisition and engagement. To conclude their NFL office visit, students presented their findings to NFL staff.

George Hamilton III – Howard University
George Hamilton III is a recent graduate from the prestigious Cathy Hughes School of Communications at Howard University. His career aspirations are to work in the sports, entertainment, or music industry in production, marketing, or in the communications field. While at Howard, he wrote for magazines and newspapers such as HU News Service and 101 Magazine, as well as for his own website. George has a passion for writing and conversing about sports, as he has been able to work with the Washington Wizards and Washington Commanders. During the summer of 2022, he was a non-scripted TV production intern for SMAC Entertainment, the company that executive produces Coach Prime. George was an NBCU Academy x NFL Experienceship student journalist who received behind-the-scenes access to NFL gameday operations at the Miami Dolphins vs. the Washington Commanders in Landover, MD.
