This annual event attracts thousands of visitors from around the Upstate New York area to carry on a nearly half-century-long tradition in Central New York. Antique Week started as a way to get customers into a Madison County restaurant in the early 1970s, but it has since grown into a much larger event.
Thousands of dealers, venders, shoppers, brokers, and pickers walk along the two-mile between the villages of Madison and Bouckville each year.
The 45th annual Antique Week will be held on August 15-21, 2016. Although this celebration is held for a week, the most exciting days are the weekends when most of the vendors and dealers are present to sell their handmade items.
The festival is located along U.S. Route 20 between Madison and Bouckville, which is approximately 35 miles southeast of Syracuse, NY.
Visitors can browse and purchase unique, handmade items as well as antiques and collectibles. From furniture to antique signs to vintage clothing, there will surely be items for everyone's interests.
Antique Week admission is free to all visitors. Parking is available at various lots and show fields around the event. There will also be shuttles available to transport people from one show field to another along the route.
