Could this unlikely duo be Hollywood's new best friends? Will Smith and Johnny Depp were spotted sharing a yacht ride to Andrea Bocelli's star-studded event in Italy, stirring excitement among fans.

Amidst the scenic views of Italy's coast, Smith, 55, and Depp, 61, joined Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad for a luxurious yacht trip to the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, where the legendary tenor Bocelli, 65, is hosting a three-day musical celebration. Saad, 42, captured the moment and shared it via Instagram on Tuesday, July 12, with the caption: "Great feeling to gather with friends. Thanks, my friends, for the lovely visit."

In the shared image, the Pirates of the Caribbean icon is casually dressed in a light button-up and jeans, his signature bandana and sunglasses adding to his laid-back look, while Smith contrasts in a vibrant, patterned blue shirt and shorts. The two also posed for a picture with German DJ Rampa.

Fans were quick to hit the comment section to show their love:

"Johnny Depp and Rampa! What a dream," one person gushed.

"Legend meets legend," another fan said.

"Beautiful thank you again for sharing. It looks like you're all having a lovely time and a lovely beautiful place. I can't wait to hear Johnny as well as yourself and Will Smith perform along with the Maestro Andrea Bocelli❤️❤️," chimed in a third.

The connection between the two actors might seem surprising to some, but they are united by more than just their current itinerary. Both are on a journey of personal and professional rejuvenation. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star seeks to mend his public image following the Oscars incident in 2022, while Depp continues to navigate the aftermath of his highly publicized legal battles with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Their participation in Bocelli's event, titled "Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration," marks a significant moment for both celebrities as they make appearances amidst a lineup of other renowned icons, including Ed Sheeran, Shania Twain, and Russell Crowe. The Italian opera singer himself expressed excitement about the participation of these Hollywood legends.

"It is one thing to cross paths fleetingly amidst spotlights and cameras, and quite another to be able to sit across from each other and savor the opportunity to chat and really get to know each other better," Bocelli shared in an Instagram post on Friday, July 12.
