Jalen Suggs finished Wednesday’s loss to the Pacers with 15 points (6-of-10 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

Suggs recorded a complete stat line on Wednesday, continuing his solid start to the season. The Magic point guard is averaging 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks per game, which has more than supplemented his offensive improvements. Suggs has been a top-20 fantasy player thus far, exceeding the preseason expectations of many fantasy managers.

Goga Bitadze tallied 10 points (5-of-10 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal, and three blocks in 30 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Indiana.

After falling one rebound shy of a double-double on Monday, Bitadze posted his first of the season on Wednesday night. Add in the defensive production, and this was an excellent outing for managers who streamed Goga. It’s unknown when Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) will return, but he’s considered day-to-day. Bitadze is worth streaming in deep leagues until WCJ returns, especially if he’ll continue to play twice as many minutes as Moritz Wagner (14/1/1/1 in 15 minutes).

Franz Wagner logged 39 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Pacers, finishing with 28 points (10-of-23 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, and two 3-pointers.

After struggling in Orlando’s first two games without Paolo Banchero (oblique), Wagner has picked up his production. He’s scored 22 and 28 points in the last two, and Wednesday’s line included eight rebounds and six assists. Banchero will be sidelined for at least 4-to-6 weeks, giving Franz a solid runway to take over as the primary scoring option and playmaker. His fantasy value should increase if the efficiency doesn’t take too big of a hit.

On Tuesday, Carter was ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Pacers. His availability moving forward is considered day-to-day. Hopefully, that means Carter won’t be sidelined for too long. As for who fills the void, Goga Bitadze will start with Moritz Wagner playing extended minutes as the backup.

Another absence for Carter Jr. should mean another start for Goga Bitadze, who logged 27 minutes on Monday. Bitadze contributed 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block during his time on the floor and should be considered as a streaming option until WCJ returns. Moritz Wagner can be considered in deep leagues, since he finished with nine points, seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and a block in 21 minutes off the bench. Neither are great options, but they will have some boosted stats as long as Carter Jr. is out.

Jalen Suggs provided solid value on Monday with 19 points (6-of-13 FGs), six rebounds, six assists, one block and one triple against the Thunder.

Even though Suggs didn’t record a steal for the first time this season, he was still able to continue his strong performance in this game. The former top five pick currently ranks in the top-20 in 9-cat value, and he has been able to contribute in every category, aside from a subpar field goal percentage. With Paolo Banchero sidelined for the foreseeable future, everyone on the team will have to step up to keep the team afloat. More responsibility will certainly fall of the shoulders of Suggs, who has been up to the challenge so far.

Goga Bitadze got the start on Monday and contributed 11 points (5-of-8 FGs), nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block against the Thunder.

With Wendell Carter Jr. sidelined, Bitadze returned from a four-game absence and immediately got the starting nod. Goga played about five minutes in each of their first three games before his injury, so he isn’t a massive part of the team’s rotation when everyone is healthy. However, he played well in his 27 minutes in this game with the extended opportunity. If Carter Jr. misses another game, Bitadze may be worth a stream in deeper leagues, but his wasn’t exactly a dominant performance that makes him a must-add.

Franz Wagner led the Magic with 22 points (8-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one 3-pointer and five turnovers in a 102-86 loss to Oklahoma City on Monday.

Wagner had already been struggling before Paolo Banchero’s injury, and things haven’t gotten easier with more defensive attention focused on him and more responsibility on his shoulders. However, this game actually went pretty well against arguably the best defensive team in the league. The turnovers weren’t pretty, but the team is clearly struggling to figure out how to operate without Banchero around. Managers should expect Wagner to have some struggles as he and the team adjust to playing through him, but the upside of being the focal point of the offense for an extended period of time is exciting. We’ll be monitoring to see how he grows.

Bitadze is back after a four-game absence and will start due to Wendell Carter Jr. (foot) being sidelined. Moritz Wagner, who started Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks, heads to the bench, but his fantasy value shouldn’t take a significant hit.
