Says he's 100 percent

Mathurin said he's been 100 percent for a month and a half, so he should be able to hit the ground running during the preseason. His sophomore season was abruptly ended due to a torn labrum in his right shoulder that required surgery, but the Pacers will be thrilled to see him ready to roll for the upcoming season. In 59 regular-season contests in 2023-24, Mathurin averaged 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 26.1 minutes.

Dealing with groin issue

Carlisle added that Wiseman had a great offseason with the team and impressed the coaching staff. Carlisle also said he hopes to simplify Wiseman's role on the court and anticipates that the rest of the roster will enjoy playing with him.

Signs camp deal with Pacers

Okafor last played in the NBA in 2021 and is working toward making a comeback to The Association. He spent the 2023-24 season playing in three different countries -- Spain, China and Puerto Rico. Since Pacers officials were impressed with his health and conditioning following a workout, he'll get a chance to crack the roster out of training camp. If that's not the case, Parker would suit up for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League.
