A man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed near the British Museum. The emergency services rushed to Great Russell Street at around 5.30am this morning (July 22).
But officers found that the victim and two suspects had allegedly fled, according to the Romford Recorder. The victim took himself to hospital and his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Two arrests have been made. A crime scene is in place.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called to Great Russell Street, WC1, at approximately 5.32am, on Monday, July 22, following reports of a stabbing. Officers attended and established that the victim and two suspects made off in separate cars.
“The victim subsequently presented himself at hospital where he remains. His injuries have been seen to be non-life threatening and non-life changing.
“A crime scene is currently in place at the location. There have been two arrests. Enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information at this early stage is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD1107/22Jul. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
