There have been a series of serious attacks in London in just five days, with 10 people stabbed and a 15-year-old boy shot and killed. Between Saturday, July 20, and Wednesday, July 23, London has seen stabbings in Hackney, Sydenham, Seven Sisters, Streatham and more, as well as a shooting in Ladbroke Grove.

Three people have been killed in this horrific spree of attacks, while two others were left fighting for their lives in hospital. Many of the victims who were killed or injured in this spate of stabbings and shootings were very young too.

A boy stabbed to death in Hackney on Tuesday afternoon (July 23) was just 15 years old, and was reportedly on his way home from picking his sister up at school. Another boy, also 15, was shot and killed in a busy park in Ladbroke Grove during a family festival on Sunday, July 21.

July 20 - Two men stabbed in Romford

On Saturday afternoon, at around 5.40pm, the police rushed to North Hill Drive in Romford. When they arrived, officers found two men had been stabbed and were suffering from knife wounds.

One of the men was discharged from hospital the next day, while the other remained in hospital. Neither was in a critical condition.

July 21 - Boy, 15, shot and killed at family festival in Ladbroke Grove

A 15-year-old boy, named as Rene Graham, was shot and killed in a park in Ladbroke Grove on Sunday night, shortly after 7pm. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports on social media, a gunman appeared from a bush and started shooting at Emslie Horniman's Pleasance in North Kensington, which is known locally as Teletubbies Park. Reports claim the park was 'full of families having fun' as the gunman appeared.

July 21 - 18-year-old stabbed in Sydenham

Shortly after 4pm on Sunday, a teenage boy was stabbed in Sydenham. The 18-year-old was found on Wells Park Road and was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

July 21 - Man takes himself to hospital after Stoke Newington stabbing

A man took himself to hospital on Sunday night after being stabbed in Stoke Newington. The stabbing was reported to police at around 7.55pm, and officers rushed to Oldhill Street but found neither a victim or a suspect.

However, police learned a short while later that a 21-year-old took himself to hospital with a stab wound. His injuries were not life-threatening.

July 22 - 'Pregnant' mum stabbed to death in Walthamstow

A murder investigation has been launched after a woman was stabbed to death in Walthamstow early on Monday morning. 32-year-old Alana Odysseos was pronounced dead at a home on Lynmouth Road after being found with multiple stab wounds by the emergency services.

Alana was a mum of two, who had just found out she was pregnant with her third child, according to her sister. Speaking to the Press Association, Alana's sister Jasmine Yates said: "We're all truly devastated and struggling so much to come to terms with this that we feel so much anger at the same time."

A murder investigation was launched by police. A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody. It is believed he was known to the victim.

July 22 - Man stabbed in Harlesden takes himself to hospital

A man stabbed in Harlesden on Monday evening later took himself to hospital five miles away in Central London. Police were called at 7.10pm to reports of a stabbing on Harlesden High Street, but weren't able to find either a victim or suspects when they arrived at the scene.

Later, they found that the victim had taken himself to a hospital in the centre of London. A man was later arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH).

July 22 - Man stabbed near British Museum

Early on Monday morning, a man was stabbed near the British Museum. Police received reports of a stabbing on Great Russell Street in Bloomsbury, but couldn't find a victim.

The man had taken himself to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening. Two people were later arrested in relation to the attack.

July 22 - Man fighting for life after being stabbed 'multiple times' in Streatham

Early on the morning on Monday, July 22, a man in his 50s was stabbed 'multiple times' in Streatham, leaving him in a critical condition. The man was found with several stab wounds on Abercairn Road in Streatham at around 3.20am.

July 22 - Boy, 15, stabbed to death in Hackney

A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death in Hackney on Tuesday afternoon. He was found on Stellman Close by the emergency services, but was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to reports in the Metro, he was on his way home from picking his sister up from a local primary school nearby. A 15-year-old has also been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, in charge of policing in Hackney, said: "The death of a child is devastating and my first thoughts are with his family and friends. Our communities will also be deeply concerned by this event.

Urgent enquiries are underway and my officers are working hard to identify the suspects. Local residents can expect to see a notable police presence in the area as the investigation continues and there will be road closures in the Stellman Close area for some time."

July 23 - Man left in critical condition after Seven Sisters Tube station stabbing

A man was left fighting for his life after being stabbed in the Underground station at Seven Sisters in North London. He was stabbed shortly before 9am and was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

A woman, aged 18, and a girl, aged 15, have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. The 15-year-old has also been arrested on suspicion of common assault, the British Transport Police has said.

Detectives are also hunting two men who were seen leaving the station down the A10 towards South Tottenham station. Any witnesses who are yet to get in touch, or anyone with information around the two men, is urged to contact British Transport Police via the online portal, by calling 0800 405040, or texting 61016, reference 171 of 23 July.

July 24 - Teen stabbed near Bounds Green park

A 19-year-old was stabbed near Bounds Green park on Wednesday evening, July 24. The incident occurred near the Oliver Tambo Recreation Ground in Albert Road.

The teenager was taken to hospital, where his condition was assessed as life-threatening. No arrests have been made at this stage. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD 6941/24Jul.
