I’m in my late 50s, I have long, thick hair that is naturally wavy and curly if I put products so I can scrunch up my hair and make it very curly. I started using the rosemary hair oil to condition, my hair by leaving it on all night. However, with this product that I can heat up in the microwave and put over my hair after I add the rosemary, I can do it all in the daytime, because this heated cap accelerates the infusion of the oil into my hair. What a great invention!

I first saw the Kitsch products on the today show, ordered the heatless curlers (that were really innovative!) and have continued ordering things since . Every product discontinued order has exceeded my expectations

I do have quite porous hair, so I was equally fine with the regular towel wrap in terms of product absorption. And my hairstylist jokingly calls this a gimmick.

But honestly it feels so much nicer, since the cap stays warm much longer than a towel (I usually keep it for ~15-25 min). This cap heats up quite easily (I do a 50% power for 60-90 seconds) and uniformly. Feels nice on the head, is not heavy, the seeds are spread more or less equally. There is enough room for long dense hair, provided you do not clip it and just place it in a shower cap. I don't think there is enough room for anyone with long textured hair - there are great options on the market though.

I haven't had to wash this cap just yet, so cannot comment on how it holds up, but the quality of the stitching and the fabric is just fab.

This would make a fantastic gift for your girlfriends with low porosity hair (think natural pin straight hair). Recommend!

After washing my hair and using Kitsch deep conditioner, moisturizing bar, I placed the disposable cap on my head and then warmed up flax seed heat cap and placed on my head for 15 minutes. I could feel the nice warm heat as it was working to deep condition my hair and scalp. This helps open pores and gets into hair cuticles for healthy hair and scalp.

This wonderful heat cap is made out of recycled crystal velvet, so soft with natural flax seeds.

It’s AmaZing and so easy to use to make your scalp and hair feel better and especially great for wintertime!
