Medieval Kingdoms: Total War is a total conversion of Total War: Attila with brings the game to the high middle ages, set in the starting year of 1212 AD going until 1453 AD. This mod will completely revamp the game with new factions, units and much much more! (Yes this is the same mod team as for the Rome 2 version.)
Work done by our newest team member Jan_Boruta. Note that not all the factions here will be playable, though most of them will be.
This map looks very good. But i have one small problem. Poland Don't look real. It would be better if Votvingians territory was smaller. Or Masovia would take place of them. And Sillesia shoud have a little less of territory then shown here ( TL;DR It would be a more real if it would look like that Euratlas.net )
There's not much we can do with that I'm afraid, we are bound by the placement of vanilla cities so we can't take away anymore territory from Sillesia without cutting them entirely. The other thing about Masovia I'll talk over.
I hope that one day there will be some great total war modding tools. That will allow to change placement of cities and their borders. But anyway thanks for attention and thanks for creating such awesome mod.
Looks good, one question, why does Ireland have the 'three crowns', wouldn't they have the 'harp' or 'red hand? I thought the crowns were King Arthur's heraldry
Sorry if this is a silly question, but why does most of England belong to "English Earldoms"? Are they a "vassal" of England, to show that English kings used to rule from their territories on the mainland?
Oh yeah, it was written down there. Sorry ^^
Two other questions though: no Armenia? And aren't Ayyubids and Zengids supposed to be vassals of the Abbassids?
But it still looks good, considering the limitations of Attila provinces.
Armenia is going to be an emergent. I'll need to ask about the other thing to my team mate, you're probably right.
Thanks!
I checked with a friend of mine (who's specialized in medieval history) and it turns out that even though they were "supposed" to be the abbassid caliph's vassals (since he named them "sultans"), the Zengids and Ayyubids in fact behaved almost independently. So I guess you'd be right to leave it as it is ^^

ouch no island city for Venice? also is it possible to conquer all of italy and do an Italian kingdom(confedaracy)? anyhow goodjob people keep it up
Will you be able to make a feature where if Nicaea takes over Constantinople/eliminates the Latin empire then they reform into Byzantium or something?
We are definitely trying to make that happen. :)
abxazia is georgia can you to listen me?
You cant put the saxons down in the right corner of Germany? Below brandenburg?
between bohemia and brandenburg?
Yay looks like Both Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia made it in :D
this might be better than stainless steal
Hey, great work and awesome mod!
Why is the HRE so small? Couldn't they be a formable confederation amongst the german states? Like Leon and Castille forming spain? would be cool!
Actually Castile and Leon just makes for the kingdom of... Well, Castile and Leon. Spain is that plus Crown of Aragon and Kingdom of Navare.

abxazia is part of georgia!!!!!
I agree my friend.
Isnt there a province up in Norway as well? If so who will occupy that? Like a norwegian faction? Would be nice to see Norway getting some love.
As of today, there is a Norway faction acailable in custom battle mode, although the older map anounced by the modders did include Norway there. Wonder what will happen.
Hi, can I ask what year this mod is set in? I'm guessing 13th century due to the Mongols?
Also, I hate to be yet another person asking these questions, but are the East Roman Empire continuation states (except the Latin Empire) allied together against the Latins?
Sorry, but if I may add a third question! :) Will Ryazan and Kiev be the only Rus factions? As in, will there be no emergents for say Galicia–Volhynia, Vladimir-Suzdal, Chernigov, Pskov, Pinsk, Pereyslav-Rus, or even Novgorod as an emergent in a defeated Teutonic Order's province of the campaign map (though solely for fun, to play out if Kievan-Rus had never fallen ^^)?
Thank you!
Oh, I am sorry! I'm truly an idiot, and only just realised the blaring obvious 1212-1453 text ^^' Whoops!

Give austria the venetian prov. right below it and give milans extra prov. to venice thats closer to where it was in medieval 2 also the land the cumans owns should be desolate and they should be nomads and so should be the volga bulgars give the volga bulgars land to ryazan murom and make there southern most prov. desolate, you could also give the yotvingians most eastern prov. to lithuania to make them a little bigger.
Also are all the HRE states going to be vassal or what?
P.S. if you can do it you might want to add in some of the smaller (at least by this point) nomadic groups like the uyghurs or pechenegs and turks or something but other than that stuff awesome mod and great work on the unit models.
why does savoy have the danish flag?
whaaat??? Abkhazia?? Abkhazia is Georgia! what is this!? Abkhazia should be mentioned as Georgia in the first place! please fix it soon. it's like showing Kievan Rus without Kiev
