Susan Locke Tenney OBITUARY

Susan Locke Tenney, 82, passed away June 16, 2024 and is survived by her husband Glenn Tenney; sons Aaron Tobias Tenney, Axel Geddes, Sven-Erik Geddes, Benn Geddes; sister Valerie Locke Atchison; 5 grandchildren; and was mother to the late Micah Ethan Tenney.Born and raised in San Mateo, CA, she loved being a mother, grandmother, and wife. She helped her husband organize The Hackers Conference, where she was called “Hacker Mom”, for 35 years. Susan was intelligent and loved the arts, novels, cooking, medical science, baking, and the quirky or absurd.Everyone she knew felt her love, irreverent sense of humor, perseverance, and youthful spirit.In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to support Alzheimer’s research.
