On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes spent Father's Day surrounded by his family with his wife, Brittany, and their two children - daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon, 18 months.

Brittany: Bronze and sterling are obsessed with Patrick

"Happy Father's Day to the MVP Dad! What you do day in and day out for this family amazes me every day,"Brittany wrote.

"We are so grateful for you and love you to the moon! Bronze and Ster are obsessed with you and well I am too."

The post included a series of family photos, featuring professional portraits, moments from their trips to an aquarium and a farm, and candid shots of Patrick embracing their children.

The collection of photos showcased Patrick in heartwarming settings: curled up on the couch with Sterling and standing in a grassy field with both kids in his arms.

The NFL star responded to his wife's post with a heartfelt comment, "Love yall!!!" along with two heart emojis

In addition to celebrating Father's Day, Brittany recently updated her fans on her recovery from a back injury.

She shared on Instagram that her back pain had resolved, posting a video of herself performing an overhead lift with dumbbells.

"Back pain has resolved so we are slowly getting back to overhead lifts with lighter weight," she captioned.

Brittany had previously announced on May 24 that she was "fully recovered" and back to her regular gym routine.

Mahomes & Chiefs looking for Super Bowl three-peat

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are gearing up for the upcoming NFL season with high ambitions.

The team has focused on bolstering their offense by signing wide receiver Marquise Brown and drafting Xavier Worthy.

Coach Andy Reid has been pushing Mahomes to take more risks with deep passes.

"If I don't, he throws little jabs at me like, 'Oh, you want to throw the checkdown here?''' Mahomes said. "I'm like, 'I got you, Coach; we're going to push it.' It has been fun."

As the Chiefs aim to become the first NFL team to win three consecutive Super Bowls, Mahomes emphasized the importance of learning from past experiences and preparing for the challenges ahead.

"You have to come in knowing that we're going to get everybody's best shot," he said.

"We know that, but at the same time, I think we were a young team last year and we kind of grew up as the season went on. I think this year you have to learn from those mistakes you made last year."

With training camp on the horizon, Mahomes remains focused on the team's goal.

"It is a brand-new season. I've dealt with it a couple times now, and we know it's going to be, every week, it's going to be a big week. We start off with some great opponents early in the season," he concluded.
