A tragic car crash in Maryland on Saturday morning resulted in the death of Vikings rookie cornerback Khyree Jackson and two of his high school teammates. New photos reveal that the vehicle they were in was completely destroyed.

The Dodge Charger involved in the crash was shown severely damaged and flattened on a tow truck, with its rear section completely separated from the main body of the car, as seen in photos obtained by TMZ.

Additional images highlighted the car's interior, which was exposed through the wrecked vehicle's body, following the crash in Upper Marlboro.

Three football players passed away

The accident claimed the lives of Jackson, Anthony Lytton Jr., and Isaiah Hazel all of whom were former football players at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School.

Jackson was a standout player at Oregon before being selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round (No. 108 overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft.

"I am absolutely crushed by this news. Khyree brought a contagious energy to our facility and our team. His confidence and engaging personality immediately drew his teammates to him," Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said.

"In our short time together, it was evident Khyree was going to develop into a tremendous professional football player, but what was more impressive was his desire to become the best person he could be for his family and those around him.

"I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to Khyree's family, friends, teammates and coaches."

Jackson, aged 24, and Hazel, aged 23, were declared dead at the crash site, while Lytton, aged 24, was taken to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead.

The crash involved three vehicles, including a silver Infinity Q50 and a silver Chevrolet Impala, according to Maryland State Police.

The driver of the Infinity Q50 reportedly attempted a high-speed lane change, colliding with the Charger and subsequently hitting the Impala.
